I like the heavier arrow,, different studies show different results,, but I had such good success with the heavier arrow I go with that for larger than deer,, my bow is quiter,, they work well, and I think in real life hunting situations,,they are not easyly deflected by twigs or stuff,, I do alot of stump shooting and see they find the target even if hitting something small,,that being said,, the 10gpp is hard to beat,, tried and proven,, thats just what I do based on my experience, and others have arrows that work for them as well,, but I think you will be amazed at the effeciency of the primitive bow,,

,,, also if you ever make any dog wood shafts ,, you will see its hard to make one less than 500 grains,, an arrow 28 inches could be 6 0r 700 grains,, so they kind of self regulate
