Change to spine with shorter arrows

I am working on a 22" draw not center shot bow and want to make arrows with it. Not sure how to spine these or even how important spine is on arrows this short. Would I want heavier points than normal for poundage of bow?

It is very important if you want them to fly well, you will need a really light spined arrow it you plan on cutting them that short and yes a heavier point will help some also. Best option is leave the shafts longer. Start with a long shaft and if it is to weak cut it little by little until it flies straight.
I never worry about how much arrow shaft is out front as long as they fly well. I would start with shafts that are a little less that the draw weight of the bow and cut accordingly.

Me to,  and if you cut it a little to short and make the arrow too stiff you can change the tip to a bit heavier one.  That will make the arrow flex a little more.

Of course you could cut them to the right length,  say 22 1/2, then sand the center of the shaft on each arrow until it shoots straight. Options!
