I thought I would post this just in case zuma needs a back up for his next hunt.all walnut and osage and about a 50# pull.made it a few years ago on a bet with a friend that I could make one all wood shoot and stay together.it shoots hard and strait at 10 yards.

That is too cool. I shot an all wood cross gun a few years back, no sights. It was soooo cool and very efficient. Nice work.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Yes their not the best pics.
uwe look at the 4 picture you can see a pin in front of the grip, the lever on the bottom of the stock pushes the pin up and releasea the string.

That is so kool, really like it. I am glad to see this thread did not get shut down (other site). I was working on the Kansas/Oklahoma border last year. Stopped at a store to get a soda. This guy had a lot of stuff in his store & yard. I picked up an OLD crossbow with a wood stock and metal limbs. Tore it apart to see the trigger mechanism so I can carve an all wood crossbow. It's on my list of projects. John
