good catch #2
« on: October 21, 2018, 06:20:55 pm »
I hope you guys don't think I'm trying to show off or anything.  O:) I'm usually not this lucky.  :D I really just like chatting about fishing and truth be told I don't know that many folks except you guys who like it too.  :)

Caught this brown trout today on a spinner. )F(  I ate half and shared the rest with my chickens. Kept the skins for bow highlights. The skin from a big brown actually holds its color quite nicely.  :OK

Nice, Jeff. You have to be a good man to share it with your chickens.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Trout are at the top of my list, nice catch.  Caught in a lake or stream?

That is a fine brown, great job Jeff.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

lol.  ;D I love that movie!

Nabbed him in a stream Parnell. It was very clear at the time so I got to see him come up out of the shadows and hit the spinner right in front of me. It was awesome!

Eddie, I would've shared it with the Mrs, but she never eats the fish I catch. Only from the supermarket  ::)

Thanks BJ. I love fishing. For me it's right up there with bending wood.  :)

Look at the kype on the lower jaw! This guy was looking for some hens on the spawning beds and some smaller males to kick around!

So that's what that thing's called. I knew it meant male, but never knew the term. Thanks JW! :OK
