Tree Saddle....?
« on: September 03, 2018, 01:08:01 pm »
Im just wondering if anyone else is using one.  I made mine for a Sit drag and a rock harness.   Its incredibly comfortable and give nearly 360 degrees of shooting range.

BJ, it is like a boatswains chair hanging from a tree. If you are nor nautical you might have to look up boatswain's chair when you look up  tree saddle.  ;D

Just looked at a video of one of those. I was a lineman for a few years and the part of that that would bother me is the foot pegs. Even with steel shanked boots after a half hour or so my feet would be screaming at me. They felt like they were bent in half.

It would take a while for me to adjust to shooting that way from a tree saddle.I like standing on my feet really.

You got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything.

Id show pics but can never get them small enough to load.  i ended up buying a set of Bullman steps to use as a foot platform.   Ive spent several hours in it so far and REALLY like it over a stand
