finally some pictures of the slooow bow haha.
while drying some cracks developed so i had to rasp the belly waaaay down so she ended up coming in at 20# at 30". pretty unhappy with
this I heat treated the belly and then backed it with sisal a la joachimM. This added about 10# so I left it at that. . .
Not too pretty, but it works haha.

NZ- looks like your patience has paid off.  Is that bow backed with cordage of some type?

Glad you got a shooter Zachary. The sisal backing gives it that sinew backed look. It's always a bit hard to tell for sure from pictures. I'd say I really like your lower limbs bend. The upper seems a bit stiff from mid limb out. Still congratulations on your shooter and enjoy it. It's such a great feeling and until you've done it, it's undescribable.

You picked it bjrogg haha i just didn't want to lose any more weight, i figured that with it being so light and backed aswell that it wouldnt be too stressed. . . We shall see how it holds up.

240m3rst Yeah i backed it with sisal cordage, applied with an equivalent to tightbond 2, it seemed to do the trick so i may do it again.
