Wiggles and twisting in reflexed bows
« on: June 06, 2018, 11:27:56 am »
If you look at the pictures you can see a wiggle in the limb in the second picture. I've found that reflexed bows have a tendency to twist if the string alignment isn't just right. Do you think a wiggle like I've shown will increase the tendency to twist? How about if the string alignment is good, will the wiggle make it want to twist?

Not neccesarally DC.It can depend on how much reflex also.I don't think it'll affect that bow any.In fact with the deflex in the handle it should be plenty stable.Pics of it working ok without deflex which can be a little more unstable but worked out fine here.
String it up and see what happens. It should'nt hurt it any. You'll see where your at then.

I agree with Ed. I think that wiggle isn't enough to cause twisting. Especially with that nice gradual reflex  ;)
