Bendy handle bow dimension ?

 Hey I've been wanting to make a bendy bow for a while,,,I have some ash  1/4 sawed slab wood,,looks real good,, what are some good dimensions ? I draw 28" and kinda want a shorter blind bow,,,,so thanks jeffw

I would be happy with mid 40-50# jeffw

If it’s bending through the handle the theory goes that it’ll go to half the bow length ie 28” draw = 56” ntn bow. However Ash isn’t always great in compression (or tension for that matter) so I would go at least a bit longer. 62” - 64” works for me with ash. You can keep it quite thin and elegant at that length if the belly is flat.
Or you could just heattreat belly and rawhide back it.

You can try 62"-64", as mentioned by, Rather,  long and 1/3/8" wide. Typically there is no narrowed handle unless you want to get sophisticated.
On quarter sawn  stock make sure the edge grain is straight.
