Thanks for the info.  Just a wag, but I think I have them about 9" or so on my recurve.  Have to come up with more fur for the straight bow.

I am sure it will work. I use all kinds of fur for silencers.  I think the leather does more to quiet  the bow than the fur .

Clint you need some fur for silencers let me know. I have plenty beaver and mink. I can send you enough to make a few sets and will toss in some seal for the shelf plate.  That stuff ain't all bad either, lol

Clint, I buy a lot of furs/hats/shawls of mink, fox, beaver etc at local flea markets and I have never paid more than $5-$7.. There everywhere around here.... But a well tillered bow is quite 😎.... or so I've heard, lol... Brian
