big and small
« on: November 22, 2017, 10:06:38 am »
Tues night bi monthly knapping, I had a small straight flake of Rainy Buttes and came out with this bird point, Next I spalled off a pc from some Kentucky Hornstone and got the larger one. This site has been pretty slow thought I would throw these out for ya, must be every body out hunting.  :KN ;D Bob

Real nice nothing on that bird point Bob,  I really like the bigger one to.

PS this spring I was hoping this site would get more active come summer but it seems to have stalled out. Maybe after hunting season is over it'll pick up.

Hunting season slows down a lot of things!  But leads to some good tales, we hope!  So far it looks to be a success for the folks back east.  We are going to try to fill our rifle tags this weekend, last chance, season closes 30 Nov.  I plan to use my .58 flintlock, Jacie will use her new Remington .308.

Nice points, Bob. being on blood thinners has slowed me down chipping. I have been heat treating some nice coral, though.

Looks good Bob.  I haven't sat down to it much lately.  Been spending more time growing the garden and in the field.

Nice points.

Nice to see a point to or two around here. Nice ones too.
Bob I think that ABO child board deal really threw a monkey wrench in here.
Steve, Pete Kieth, Joel,Glenn gone since then.I' d have to check but I don't  think
the ABO board has a post in months.
I just don't have any worth while rock and am to cheap to spring for any.
