glue up question...

fellas i made some nice laminations from ash and i wanna glue up a R/D longbow...

my question is glue related... i have titebond II and i have knox glue...  if need be i can run to the store and get titebond III but would prefer to use what i have...

if i use the knox glue... how long of a drying time am i looking at?  will it hold up to the stresses?

i am aiming for a 70" R/D pulling 50-55# @ 29"...

any advice will be appreciated...

TB11 will work with no problems as will collagen glue. You would need to know what you are doing with the gelatin though and I would recommend the TB11 for ease of use.

No Problem
Make sure your gluing surfaces mate very well. Try to apply the glue to your laminates quickly and use plenty as TB2 can start to go tacky quite quickly.

   If you can find something better than ash for the belly slat I would, ash is not all that great for an r/d design.
