Since I have plenty of time on my hands I thought I'd make some more spoons. just finished this one out of Cherry. Man, that is some hard wood, but pretty grain.

Not at all surprised how well you have taken to carving spoons, considering your predisposition to stirring the pot!

That one is particularly nice, Eddie.  Like you, I really love the grain of cherry wood.  She's a beauty!

Thank you, Guy, JW seems to have a short memory wen the spoon is in his hand ;). Bill, this one is small enough to eat with. I'm thinking about some big spatulas and flippers for cast iron pans next.

At no point did I even infer that I have never taken a hand in the kitchen with my own spoon!

Eddie, how long before you show up at the Classic with a handcarved cased set of kitchen utensils carved from matching grain wood?  Throw that down on the auction table and folks will be throwing entire wallets, checkbooks, credit cards, and their FICA credit scores down for tickets!

John, I'm going to try and have some ready for the raffle in May. I have roughly three months before I can go back to work so I'm trying to get a lot of them finished.
