hedge privet?
« on: December 01, 2017, 03:19:09 am »
Hi everyone;
I've stumbled across a couple of large privet bushes (Ligustrum) in a woodland near me, never been trimmed/shaped for hedging but they have a couple of nice looking stems.  The only privet bows I've found on-line seem to have snapped after a year or two; anyone got any experience with Ligustrum?

Good for bows and arrows but it is susceptible to checking.
