Thanks for scanning the pic ,Del. it looks straight-on enough to be able to work with in paint.

In a nearby thread, I have plotted some average dimensions for MR bows, but have no idea if bow 1648 is typical or average.
Have the dimensions for 1648 been published?  Hopefully, if so, someone might be kind enough add 1648's dimensions to the other thread.   No need to side track Bobs presentation any more than we already have.

That tiller, imo, is about as good as it gets. Don't mess it up now ;-)

I also tend to use inkscape (a freeware vector program), you import the photograph as a bitmap, and draw a circle or arc of circle over it, and modify the dimensions as needed.
