Yup, red osier. Hard not to use it when there is such an abundant course nearby. It makes a nice arrow.

Yes they make a nice arrow. I've got an abundance here to but it still takes time searching for and straightening them. Very nice present

Thanks guys.  I just decided to do the spliced fletches, and they turned out nicer than I expected.  If I hadn't just made a set for myself, I would be a lot more tempted to keep them.  Black and yellow always look good together.  Hope my victim likes them.

I'll be shipping out Tuesday or Wednesday also. Along with the quiver will be a jar of verdegris fletching glue and a jar of cranberry wine jelly.
