Steve, Roger makes the coiled baskets with palm doesn't he. He doesn't seal them. I think just use it like GlisGlis suggested. I bet it will last you years.

He does Pat. Yeah, I'm just going to leave it. I'll have it about filled in tonight, most likely. I'm considering just keeping on with the palm cordage to act as the strap somehow...Doubling it over and tying it in...I'll figure it out!

looking good Steve. i find in using palm that drying and shrinking is just what it does. freezing or soaking in salt water sometimes helps. just weave as tight as you can and wait and see
