Help on my first bow
«

This is my first bow. I was wondering how to fix the twist in the tip of the limb, and the curve in the limb. Can I leave the curve or will it ruin the bow? Any assistance would be appreciated thank you!

When you are typing your post click on attachments and other options. Then you will see the attach box. More than likely you will need to shrink your jpg files to get the file size below the 250KB limit. If you are using Windows you can you the Paint program to do this. Use the resize feature.

First welcome to the site, now about the bow have you got it bending yet? If not i would tiller it till it is bending about a 15" draw and see where the string goes across the handle. Then if it needs some adjustments that can be done with dry heat or steam

Welcome!
Is the wood dried long? What kind of wood is it and how long?
I would probably try to heat the banana curve area and clamp it down with some leather padding under each contact area to get a little closer to where I want the string over the handle. That said, I spend way too much time tweaking on that sort of thing

Thanks Bubby, I might try that.
DuBois, I dried the stave for about 7 months. The type of wood is ash, and it's about 62" long
