Here's some spruce arrow shafts just done for this bow.Nothing real fancy but very functional.Close to10 gpp.Horn inserts/4.5" long & 5/8" tall parabolic feathers.They fly like darts if my anchor and release are done properly.The bare shaft at the bottom is from my findings of making shafts from different woods.It's honey locust.Same spine but around 100 grains heavier.Good for hunting I figure.The top 2 are a couple left over I footed with purple heart.That gave them more grains up front and weigh a little more.Pics.

These arrows mostly intended for target shooting should last a while,because I seem to break or lose many of them over time.I like spruce for staying straight good but usually it's a bit light mass wise for me.This bow being into the upper 40's in poundage seems to accomodate them pretty good.I know other types of wood will work too.Maple for one used as a hunting type arrow.Heavier in mass but with a good accomodating spine and of course cane and bamboo should work great too.
I've been questioned about how a bow like this being center shot feels in the hand compared to a non center shot.I feel and see no difference,but like most new bows there will be a marrying up period shooting it to really get good with it,or close in my case....lol.I'm sure snaky bows by fellas can vouch for me about this because they can be this way too to different degrees for string alignment.
I'm always here to answer questions and hope to learn more from different findings from other bowyers.
