Once in a lifetime photos

This was very special. I got to be front and center
to a fawn production line and --Yes I had my camera.
I doubt I can show all the details here but you can
pm me if you want. This went on for a long time.

Interesting its a young buck doing the breeding and not a mature one.

Thanks Pearly I have seen and filmed many sparing matches
and heard the noise of encounters of this kind  but to get
 photos and film of this was truly lucky.

DC yeah I have a bunch on different storage devices.

You may be correct Osage that it's unusual but as rare
as we see this we just don't know for sure.
Although I did kick out a big boy about 1/4 mile from
where this occured. Real big
There are also plenty of does around and the rut has
been delayed due to unusually hot weather.

I've seen one full blown mature buck fight. It was nothing short of total violence and chaos for about 2-3 minutes.

Very cool to see and to get a photo is rare and lucky, I saw a 5 point mount a 6 point Friday morning, not just playing either I mean he went at it in earnest for 30 seconds or so. Wished I had had a camera. I text Miss Joanie and told her what I had seen and she said he really needed killing, I said I am trying.
