Grand weekend it was, and over wayyyy too soon!
20+ fellas showed up . . . . knappers, bow-makers, and wanna-be-bowmakers.
Chris (bowwood) and family organized fabulous venue and apparently made dutiful sacrifices to weather gods.
As usual, I did not take advantage of many photo opps, But did put down rasp, heat gun, sandpaper, and bow often enough to capture a few images.

Many stories were told.

Shooting range Chris (and family) set up was first rate. Wish I had captured images of targets!

Osage was king!

Looking forward to next year.

Had a great time! Thanks to the Rackleys for the hospitality and making sure EVERYTHING was covered. I believe the shop was cleaned twice so many shavings were being made. Lolking forward to the next time we get together.

From the pictures it appears that a good time was had by all.  :BB
And it looks like you managed to re-define "stump shooting" as well...

I had a great time too. Pat, you are welcome here anytime, as well as the others. Thanks Chris for letting us party at your place for two days. The while family helped so treat them to something special!

It was good seeing friends and making new ones. I got a few things worked on. Finished a trade, made a few more, shot a bit, ate to much, and had a blast the whole weekend. I'll post my pic tomorrow I took a bunch.

I didn't take any pictures either.

Too busy working on bows and telling stories.   :D   thanks to Patrick and Jon for the advise on the bow.

Chris, your hospitality is unbelievable.  You and your wife went above anything that anyone would expect.

Thanks Dave for letting me sleep on the couch.

Looks like y'all had a great time; good food, good company, bow-makin' and shootin'.

MoJAM 2017 can't come too soon for me. It'll be great to see y'all again.

Sorry for the delay in pics.
I pulled in late friday to a full parking lot.

Chris had a festive tarp up for us too.

There was still plenty of work in the shop though.

Some even tuckered out in the shop.

Pulling back up Sat morning.

Lots of work going on.

No get together is complete without first timers.

Mike looking a bit confused.

More later

Dave I wonder if Mike's confusion had anything to do with the brown bottle in his hand?  :o

And I thought Dave was my friend . . . . .  >:D
Otherwise, great pictures and looking forward to more . . . especially those ones that show Dave huntin' his arrows in the brambles.   ;)

Wish we could do this more regularly. On other hand, maybe it would not then be so special.
