That's a beauty JW. Well worth the wait I'd say.
I like the looks of a buffalo horn but mine are all just plain and simple.

I am no Roland Cadle, or Art DeCamp, that is for sure.

If you wanna see some stuff that will melt your shorts, look up hornguild.org and click on the Photo Gallery.

Man if I keep looking at this stuff I'll be at risk of picking up another hobby just so I can carry some sweet looking gear. Heck I even tried to win the raffle for the powder horn Pappy made at the Elm Hall raffle last week just to have it around to hang on the mantle and look at.  I've never black powder hunted and gave up gun hunting some 20 years ago to focus on bow hunting exclusively. I've always thought that if I ever went back to big game gun hunting it would have to be with a smokepole.
Nice looking horn JW.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Greg, the smell of Black Powder is addicting. Hunting squirrels and shooting over and over is a blast.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Only by reputation!  They are two of my favorite horners.
