In about a year when it dries. If you get down to my place before I leave for Canada I'll give you a good stave.

Sounds good. I'm trying to get my hands on some elm.
Although I do have some nice live oak trees which according to wood database it's harder than hickory so I'm gonna cut some down tomorrow and see what I think of it

I've got some real elm, not that twisted crap we have. If I don't give you a stave you'll wipe out all of the trees in Central Florida. ;)

Hahaha very possible I might!. This stuff is exciting for a young buck like myself. I ruined 3 hackberry staves trying to get them down to bow dimensions.  But 4th times a charm lol
