Tree huggin' cowboys are one of the rarest breeds on the planet :)

Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

The only time I ever hugged a tree was climbing it to knock a coon out. ;D

I found an Osage tree that was so big around I could only just get my arms wrapped around it and touch my finger tips together.  ...and it was ram rod straight up to about 14 feet off the ground with no branches shooting out of it.  I guess you could say I hugged it to measure it's size!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL

Hey BG, ...any update on the work that was/is going on in the back section for campingPowerPrivies? Showers?  I mean, I'm fine with NONE of those being available, but I'm trying to talk my Darling Wife into coming along this year and I suspect these items would be serious inducements to getting her to sign-up!  :)

Eric I'm not positive but I think Guy said that project got put on hold. I'd like to camp back with the cool guys, but my wife is probably gonna want the nerdy close to the showers and electric hook up site. So it'd be nice to have a cool nerdy neighbor if that'd help persuade her.

BJRogg - That sounds like an option!  Thanx muchily...  We'll just make an "other kewl kids" camp.  I doubt we can aspire to be as awesome as the back field guys, ...but we can still be comfortable, (...and sleep with our wives!) :)  :D  ;)  8)

BJ is correct they ran into an unexpected expense and put the improvements of the back field on hold but many of the other things are full speed ahead
they are putting together a meeting after the holidays to try to get some of the back field things going again but doubtful the showers are in the cards this year
but you folks can get a new cool going upfront by the facilities already there
let me know if you need anything special  , I will do my best .

will keep you all posted
this I know the old drive is open.
some of the bridges and stairs are improved and a few other things are done

Guy it might be nice to put a blue house in the back field a lot of the "cool" guys are tent camping and it's a ways up to the first one
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.
