No pressure or anything but...... hey man, was wondering when we can start to see bows from you again? See if you van talk to your PT person and convince them that archery is great therapy. Id love to see it a prescription!

I opened my new copy of Primitive Archer the other day, that I'd likely not have re-subscribed to but for your influence and challenge, and right in the middle I find a FULL two page spread of your Bow of the Year!  It seemed somehow fitting and yet melancholy at the same time!  You do WONDERFUL work sir.  Looking forward to hearing GREAT NEWS about your recovery as you work through the conditioning and healing your body needs now.  Prayers for your healing...

Now that the doctors have done a sinew and hide glue patch, it is time to get re-tillered by the physical therapists. 

I think it is time to drop the "Pinecone" designation from your username.  You served your time with the nickname your niece tagged you with.  Let it go.  Especially because pinecones fall out of trees.  You need to stop that. 

I got the bow picked out, but I don't really have the arrows I need for it, so I have to finish those this weekend.  Then it will be posted on my Facebook page and the bidding starts.

Don't really know you, but from the past few month's posts, and I was of course impressed by your generosity in the drawing in April.. I was horrified to read about the accident.. just wanted to say I truly pray for your recovery and for God to give you a peace that surpasses understanding everyday. As you heal physically may you be guided emotionally and spiritually as well.

A prior bidder jumped back in and high bid now stands at $450.  Funny thing is, the guy doesn't give a rip about archery, hunting, or traditional skills.  In fact, he and I are not exactly friends and he has no bloody idea who Bryce is or what  Pinecone might be!!!  I can only guess that the way I worded things on Facebook touched his heart...or Someone did. Get one thing straight, I ain't complaining!!!

It's just a red oak board bow with a lot of lipstick on the pig.  6', fake snake skinned, superglue soaked leather tip overlays of layered grey and black leather, simple sewn black leather grip.  *yawn*
