Looking to trade for a nice Osage Selfbow
« on: May 15, 2016, 08:57:51 pm »
I have three bows I'd like to offer up for trades/swaps
2 vintage Brownings: an Explorer and a Safari 2.  The Explorer is 42@28/AMO 62, the Safari 50#@28/AMO 60

1 Howard Hill "Halfbreed" that's 50@30, AMO 68

I'm really more focused on looking for a solid Osage selfbow over 50#s but I'm always up for a swap for other vintage bows.

Here's some pics but I can always PM more if you're interested in a swap.  These don't get shot much since I've started going a bit more "traditional" lately shooting bows without any glass.

My email here on the forum is my work email, but feel free to shoot me an email at home as well:
windknot_flies@grandecom.net

Thanks!

~Harris  (Corpus Christi, TX)

If I'm not pulling on one string, I'm thumping on 4.

Love that HH bow, but don't have a self bow to swap right now.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Yeah, poor guy!  And it would take you, what?  ....maybe two days to have one ready?

Hey, H.P., if ol' Squirrel Buns can come up with one of his bows, take him up on it.  His stuff is pretty decent for a Neanderthal that beats on hollow logs with little sticks in a quasi-rhymic manner.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

I like those Hill bows also, just wish they made the grip area smaller.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
