I have been working on this bow some weeks,, months???,,
I finally have the bow tillered to 56#@25 inches and it is shooting well
the bow is 55 inches nock to nock
the art is in progress,, when I finish I will post the full draw and braced photo
I am thinking I will put some overlays,, and maybe a handle
I was going to put deer hide on the back and do the art on that,( I have done that before) but I am impatient and decided to try it on the sinew,, I have a turkey hunt coming up and want to get the bow finished for that :)

I like that design for the back.  Unique.

you can see a slight gull wing from the back set induced into the handle,,also in the full draw the bow looks a little stiff out of the handle,, the back set is at least part of that,,I really struggled with how much to make that bend out of the handle and gave it much consideration,,

the bow has a slight twist,, the string lines up well,, and it shoots well with either limb up,,I plan to shoot it some more and see ifthe the real top limb will reveal itself,, I am posting two money shots,, one with the "top" limb up and the other with the bottom limb up,, I still want to put dark horn overlays and some kind of handle, but since this bow is for me,, it is taking me too long to decide what to do,, so I wanted to share the photos I have so far,, as I don't know how long it will take me to do the final detail work :)
in the full draw,, the top limb looks a bit funky,, and the bottom pretty good,, then I turn the bow upside down, now the  bottom limb that looked good is a bit funky,, so I am calling it done,, I shot through the chrono and it would hit mid 170's with 500 grain arrow,, I am hoping that will kill a turkey  :),, I am still at 25 inches of draw,, with the option to go longer if needed, when I shot the bow today,, it had perfect arrow flight,,so I am on hold till I shoot it a bit more,,it never really gets easy for me,, the more I know and the better I see,, its seems to get more and more difficult :)  thank you all again for the positive comments,, and I wish everyone the best on your bow making projects,,

Very cool bow Brad. Everything about it is cool. She'll make a great turkey bow.
