Damn Simon. Up until this point, i was just fine focusing on the giving side of this exchange....

Looking good everyone, sorry Pearl , but that does happen when working with a challenging piece of wood. :( I made a little head way on mine this weekend, braces and got it out to 20 inches at about 38 lbs  looking for around 50@27 so plenty of wood left to work with, also back on the form for some R/D and string alignment. I will give it a few day to get over what I did to it and then finish tillering.  ;)

Bubbly, that tip reflex looks good and in a good place for it. Now get those mids moving ;)

looking good gentlemen.  Nice creative approach to the take down Simson.   I just returned from 3 weeks of travel in Africa.  Need to get caught up on some things but plan to bring my osage billets down to Haiti for something to do while working there in early March.  I'll try to post some progress then.

All but done. "Charity" just needs a few more coats of sealer and she's ready for the big dance.

This stave came from my grampa's farm before he passed. The man taught me much in life, but above all he taught me to be generous, kind, and charitable with all people. This bow is in honor of him.

That bow looks great Scott.  Awesome job on those skins.

Pappy, your picture made me excited about the Classic.  That work bench sure has seen a lot of bows shaped on it.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I did notice that Scott's bow is right handed so I'll just admire the pics
