great bunch of bows going on here.  I just got off the plane from Thailand and have some time this month to get working on mine.

Bring any nice skins back?

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I wish.  Not this time.  I have a few pieces left from before.  Bought about 50 sets of buffalo horns and sawed them into plates though to fill a few orders.

Here's a peek at my 2nd attempt trade bow. Have it within 2" of full draw and gonna come in at the bottom end of my victims
preferred draw weight range, dang it, wanted to be somewhere in the middle. Not sure yet if this one will make the grade. I'll finish tillering it and see how it handles some arrows before I decide if its the one.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Piss on the weight range Greg. That bow from your hands is all that matters. Nobody will care if its a few pounds light.

Well, if it happens to be for me, Greg, I'd love to have a bow at the bottom of my weight range. I have plenty of 60# bows and not enough 45-50# bows. That bow looks awesome.

Yea, Greg, I'm with Weylin. It would be nice to have one to shoot a lot without the shakes towards the end.

Slowly but surely making progress on my trade bow. I'm going for a yew static recurve with a bit of deflex out of the handle. I'm toying with the idea of some brushnocks but I wont worry about that until I get it bending the way I like. I will most likely back it with rawhide. putting curves in a bow sure can be a pain in the ass. Sometimes I feel like I could have made two longbows in the time it takes me to get everything lined up and even. Oh well, it's fun. Hope this stave works out.

Worked on the vine maple candidate today. Got her on the short string without any drama. Tomorrow I'll install tip overlays and get her tillered out.
