WOW,  simson,  just WOW!
I believe you have gotten this stuff down to a fine science! Anyone would be proud to own that bow.

Missouri, where all the best wood is! Well maybe not the straightest!

Building a bow has been the most rewarding, peaceful, and frustrating things I have ever made with my own two hands!

Everyone's looking real good so far! Have not had a lot of shop time lately but wanted to post an update of where I was at. These billets are not sisters but were actually one stave I cut in half do to nasty knot and check right in the middle. These are some extremely dense dead standing I cut a few years back. Currently 68 inches long and plenty of meat to play with for any weight and draw length. Still need a little heat correction hoping to get a string on it in the next few weeks. Hopefully it holds together and if it does I just got some real nice snake skins from Clint hoping it would add to the mild snakeyness

Simon, I've decided that you are an artist that just happens to build bows :-)

About time we get some pictures on this thread. Great work Simon and Pauly.

That's looking good Paul.  Just the right amount of wiggle down the limbs.

I'm glad that you still have time to switch that handle around to the correct side, Simon. It's ok. We all make mistakes.
