Well it's been a few weeks and I've been busy with bow work. But I had a chance to work on the quiver over the weekend at OneBow's house. He has an awesome jointer and I was able to get a perfectly matched edge on both the boo and the Walnut. Thanks Eric!

First I ran both pieces of the boo through the jointer. They came out nice and flat on the cut edges. Then I needed to surface the Walnut, the pieces are curved a bit so I Eric suggested that I run the Walnut through the jointer while they were in the jig I had made. It worked perfectly. Then we discussed glue, I thought maybe epoxy or maybe even tight bond. Somehow we under up using superglue. It worked really well. I use instabond superglue made by tight bond. It's designed for gluing wood. I use it on everything on my bows,  it takes a little longer to set but it holds solid.

After an hour or so I popped it out of the jig and ran the other side of the Walnut through the jointer. Now I need to clean up the inside of both pieces of bamboo and thin the Walnut a bit then glue the other half together. Then I can finally sand it all down and work on the fun stuff! Here is a few pictures of the progress.

Well I've managed to get some more work done on the quiver. I didn't get a lot of pictures because I kinda got carried away in the process.
But I got the other side glued together and took the overhanging Walnut and sanded it all off on my little drum sander. Then I used my card scraper and cleaned up all the left over sheath on the boo and blended the Walnut and boo together. Then I cut it to the length I wanted, sanded the whole thing down to 400 grit and wiped it with a damp rag then resanded. I used a tack cloth and wiped away all of the dust, then put a couple coats of spray polycrylic on it as an initial finish. I also sprayed the inside really good. Now it's time to start making it pretty. Here is a couple of pictures of where I'm at right now.

Thanks fellas! I hate to cover it up at all. But some of it will have some wrapping on it.
