Way to go Bill!!!   I knew you would get one this year with how great you were shooting at marshall.  That was a great shot.  Tracy's point sure did the job.  One of his points took down my first one.

I'm also looking forward to hearing yours and Dave's kill stories at Moontree.  Maybe Dave could start a bragging board in his bow shop where we can all put up a picture of our primitive kills.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Congratulations Bill. I'll be looking forward to hear the story at Marshall also. Great that you could share the experience with your father-in-law.

Congrats!! I to hunt mainly from the ground just like you. Sometimes from a blind when it gets cold. I had a buck almost in range yesterday. I'm glad you got it done with stone! The smile tells it all!

Thanks so much guys.......
Really appreciate the comments...yea from the ground was exciting....everything happened so fast, the wind was perfect, the ground cover was thick with and opening in just the right spot. I really appreciate the many opportunities I have to hunt such a good area.  I really think someone was looking over my shoulder that morning making sure I didn't hesitate and guided the arrow to the sweet spot.

Drew (Blackcoyote) ... that is exactly what my wife said.. :) ;)
Thanks again,
DBar
