home made ax handle

Yeah about that I live in Texas don't need much fire wood down here. It was more of can i do it more than anything.  Was fun though.  It weird how much satisfaction you can get out of making something you don't really need.  Actually I needed it the other broke trimming some osage. And I'm too broke to buy a replacement.  :o

Sweet job... it's one of those jobs that you think should be quick and easy, but it isn't unless you want a loose handle and blisters every time you use it ::).
I have one old one that really needs a new handle, but I use it more as a wedge when splitting... it's on my yeah, yeah, I'll get round to it one day list...
