Name this stone

I find it in Ontario, Canada. Its like potatoes in the limestone where I find it, sparks steel(hate to say where I find it, many of you may know) Someone told me it was jasper,

If it's in Limestone I'd think it's a Chert. Looks like the same chert I find down here in LS.

Most jaspers are sort of waxy and lusterous.

I find it a little further north then I thought Onondaga went, I found this stone in the New Liskeard area, I haven't seen much about knappable stone  in that area. The chert I seem to find comes in beds between the layers of limestone in  southern Ontario, these stones look like potatoes in the limestone. Thanks for all the input,

I'm not sure what that material is but if its free take it. Here's a few taconite jasper points from the Lake superior area, like Zuma said, it looks kind of waxy as well as to the touch. Hard to find consistent material though due to freeze cracking and such hence the smaller points.
