The whole expereince went very well. I will do it again next year...God willing. The meat is fantastic and I just finished the hide and although its not brain tanned it turned out very well. I ended up with a kill shot with a 30/30 right behind the right ear from about 75yds. The skull is almost cured as well and she is gonna be the watcher over the shop when I'm gone...lol if you know what I mean. Thanks again for all the interest and encouragement.   Danny

It was thanks Eddie. I would still like to try and take one next year with the stick and string. Maybe by then I will have some good cane arras fletched up and maybe even some razer sharp stone points as well.  Danny

i'm surprised you even call that a hunt:  it's a fenced-in ranch, isn't it?
