dyneema question
« on: July 12, 2015, 02:28:30 pm »
Hi folks, all the best to everyone....I gota question....I just bought some braided fishing line off ebay, made of dyneema, it is a whole lot cheeper than fastflight bow string material, which I beleive is also dyneema....so was wondering does any know, or tried using this braided line for bow strings?
they claim one braided strand has 100lb breaking strain...

I've been using it since I started building. In fact it's all I use. There is some stretch in certain brands, but I found one I like.

I like it for endless strings with large loops. Quite a few people use it.

I use it as well. It is a good deal cheaper and I have not had issues and I have used it for both endless and twisted strings.
