New Knives
« on: June 12, 2015, 12:00:17 pm »
Couple new knives I got finished. Both are hand forged 1080 Carbon Steel. Mule deer antler handles. Top knife has a blade length of 5 3/16". Bottom knife has a 4 3/4" blade. Sheaths are brain tanned mule deer hides that have been smoked and beaded

Nice knives and beautiful sheaths. Did you do the brain tanning and bead work?

No, I haven't done any brain tanning, it is on my list though! I do some beadwork but usually smaller stuff. I purchased both these sheaths. I only added the cones and the breath feathers to the one

Great knives
New to all of this primitive stuff. Just taking it all in, and learning every time I come here.
