Great leather working build.  Should be very helpful to beginners and the experienced alike.  So did you use some kind of aerosol leather dye?

I used Feibings USMC black on this one.  It's a alcohol based dye.  I do tend to use a airbrush to color.  Makes the dye go much further.  Thanks on the notebook.  I have to carry that around to jot ideas.  Sale a lot of the notebook covers too.

Great idea airbrushing leather dye!!  I'm gonna have to use that

Makes it easier to feather in the color on the edges also.  You can get a cool antique look using black over brown that way.  Probably would work for a bow also.  Especially if you backed with silk.

 I'm just trying to get a nice fade from one end of an arrow to the other. Never thought of an air brush. Thanks Now, where did I put my airbrush.
