Hickwood bow.
« on: May 15, 2015, 09:34:44 pm »
This bow is from two failures for the 2013 bow trade. Upper limb is from a flowering dogwood bow that broke while shooting it in. Bottem limb is from a hickory stave i ruinec on the bandsaw. I decided to join them together. Result is 66 1/2 nock to nock. 48# @ 28". Both limbs have different front profiles so i tried to feflect that in the tiller. Dont know if tiller is technicaly right but it feels good in the hand and hits where i look with authority. Think this will be my go to bow for a while.
