good thing it wasn't sharp!!! Would have cut your and off or at least got deep enough to get the artery. Thank God your wife was home, last time I cut my hand knapping I slipped while pressure flaking and cut the tendon and joint open where your index finger and hand join. To make it short I was a deer camp opening weekend the Friday before gun season started and was alone and had to drive myself 25 miles to the er while trying to stop the bleeding and calling the wife to inform her of my fun creative day, Glad you will be alright and keep posting the points I enjoy looking and it gives me ideas.
FLINTKNAPPING IS EASY...I WAS ALWAYS TOLD I COULD BREAK AN ANVIL WITH A POWDER PUFF.

Haha ;D yep I need to stop whining.  I was back at it yesterday after mowing the yard.  I was practicing up on isolating platforms, and was getting one pretty thin till I hit it on the base.  :'(
 No pressure flaking yet.

Bob I agree we to need to post something like that ate the classic.

Thanks for the thoughts everybody! But Towers right

Duct tape and toilet paper....it's called a Mandaid!

I hope you heal well and don't have any issues with nerve or tendon damage.  The knapping spirits have exacted their toll, let's hope they are merciful and give you good flaking from here out!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
