I just finished a thin ringed bow that I posted a few weeks ago.  It turned out fine,  That stave will probably be fine too.  I chased it down to the ring just above the one I wanted with my draw knife, then more or less scraped it down to the finished ring, using the draw knife minimally.  A pain for sure, it just takes time and patience.

I already have it to a final ring and I know it will make a bow. My question is if the thin rings will make it more likely to bend when the limb is thicker than normal.
