Bow section
« on: April 24, 2015, 03:38:43 pm »
There's not much Id change about this site, I really like the simplicity and lay out.
It's why I come here 99% of the time instead of the other sites.
One thing that I do really like about one of the other sites is the Bows only forum. Where a particular bowyer has a whole thread or portfolio of bow after bow after bow, straight bow porn.
Guys come here to either talk bows, ask questions, or show finished bows.
Lots of the great bows posted here get knocked back into page 2, and if I don't sign in for a day or 2 or 3, it's easy to miss them.
I know some simple searching brings up everything, but I sure do love looking at pics of beauty bows.
IT would be awesome to click on "Simsons bows", or "carsons bows" ect ect
I know lots goes into making and maintaining a site like this, I just think it would be awesome!

Pat has a sticky in the build along's section. It has a ton of intentional bow porn for the very reason you brought up, we like to stare at it. Its a bit dated now, but who doesn't like vintage bow porn?

Tell you what. When you stop by Ill let you stare at mine for a few before we head out ; I only have 8-10 of my own around anymore, the rest are all gifts from other bowyers.

That would be awesome. I've seen only a handful of other bowyers work up close.
