I always wondered how those worked with a fire. I know there is a hole at the top but making it actually draw the smoke out is a mystery to me.

There is an inner liner that creats an air gap that make it a natural chimney. Warm with fire in winter, cool in summer with shade and airflow.

sleek. I got a feeling that lodgepole pine would suck for bow wood. But it makes great lodge poles.
Yes it was very nice of him to give it to me. I will certainly get good use out of it.
