who to slabb for me?
« on: February 10, 2015, 01:24:42 pm »
I have 3 nice pieces of flint that I got in a trade. I want to slab one or all of them. I don't want to waste any. is there anyone out there who slabs for other people and what do they charge? I really suck at spalling and I would just be sick if I screwed any of this stiff up. any help would be fantastic.

You can rent a diamond saw??? Maybe for half day.

Are they big pieces ,blocks, nodules, what kind of flint? I have a 24" saw and can slab. Going rate is usually 1/3 to half the slabs and cutter choice. or you can pay to do it. If it common material,  spall it, if its not, saw it.

I could do it if the pieces aren't too big for my 14" saw.
I will send a PM about it
