You're asking the wrong guy where to scrape on that bow Blackhawk! I really struggle with tillering, hence the fooling around with photos. :embarassed: So, here's a composite with most of the askewness in the photo removed:

Maybe even scrapes on both limbs if the bow's profile is non-pyramid?

I'm still wondering if the axis of the ellipse ought to align with your hand and fingers pressure points in the bow and string- i.e. weaker upper limb and ellipse tilted to the left. Maybe shoot a few arrows to judge nocking point and handshock before scraping?
