I like it too. Yep, I can sympathize with the blood donor syndrome.

Joe, "Super knapper" I'm not even close. Just at the classic , James P. Shannon W. Jesse W. Will H. Roger H.and  Scott  and I am sure I have forgot others. This is one of the reasons I keep coming to the classic, small knappin but the talent that I get to learn from is HUGE. So many really good knappers and everyone of them has helped me in some way, Oh almost forgot John Henry who helped me  so much in my early endeavers. Thanks to all of them. Bob

Bob: I can tell you for sure that from the time I first met you in the Pit you have become a real knapper.  I have a couple of names to add to the list of Super Knappers from the old days.  J. B. Sollberger, D. C. Waldorph, and Larry Schumacher who was my mentor.  I have a collection of J. B's. flute points and will bring them to the Classic to show you.  You won't believe how thin and perfect his fulsoms are!  I have J. B's notes and a bunch of Waldorph's old mags.  I have a huge blade Larry made years ago and D. C. told me at a knappin that it was better than he could have done!  Also want to tell you from experience that a person's skill level drops off significantly as age takes it's toll!  Joe
