@ comancheria: I applied one layer of water based finish, then drew the paintings with my daughter, a lot of sticky fingers and a red and white dog and after that i applied three more layers of finish.
the colors are normal wood colors, I applied them with very fine brushes and for the wolf and eagle the were apllied with a brush and for the fine details wit some fine pens.

Absolutely!

I would rather see some uneven lines and know your daughter spent time with you on a project than to see it done like it was a computer generated 3D graphic.  The former is appropriate for the spirit of these bows, the later is appropriate for wheelie bows.
