Check your states regulations regarding bow draw weight. Some states have a minimum poundage for hunting deer.

Brik, look through hunting posts for 2013 and 2012. You'll find a gentleman by the name of Keith that posts his harvests with a 38 lb bow at close range. He would be a good person to pm. Everything sounds good. 20 yards might be stretching it for a humane kill at that poundage consistently but I could be wrong. Best of luck and post pics of your harvest

if you dont mind ...i really wanna see this bow...you are getting some amazing speed for that weight shooting 400 grn arrows...i wanna see this bow!! im heartily impressed
