JW, could not agree more, a friend lives in Wyoming and they drained an entire lake to kill all the pike so they could plant trout, go figure. The reason for the pike in the first place is because of the lifting capacity for bald eagles.....most of the books say an average male can lift 2.5 - 3 pounds and a large specimen female maybe up to 4.5 - 5.0 pounds so this was the biggest fish I could think of that would be in the general neighborhood.
