I don't think the brush nocks attempt was a complete failure....(how's that for understatement!)

The boo backed yew bow is bending too much in the fades. Kinda dangerous with the narrowing of the handle and the glued on riser. Get more of the midlimb bending.

I like that dark bow with the brush nocks! Sweet profile.

Akteacher, If your not a member of T.A.A. traditional archers of alaska you should look into it. T.A.A. has a web site so do the "Cook inlet archers" T.A.A. has a great 3 day shoot on memorial weekend in Wasilla. Cook inlet archers shoot all winter the 3 rd sunday of the month starting in October. I flint knap and build bows myself.
