I am unsure what that bear is doing in that picture, but I am fairly sure he is either taking a dump or mooning Pat.

In either case, it appears to be an escalation of the hostilities. At the very least, a sign of declining respect for the homeowner!

here are some pics from my trailcams so far this year.  got the black yote at the top of the hit list.  second pic is my bearded hen.  third is of the three gobblers mullet put out of their misery this past spring.  forth and fifth, you see how much this buck has grown in a month.  sixth is of my twins.

Awesome pictures.  Thanks for posting them.  I hope you get that black coyote.  I've never seen one like that before.

i've seen a couple other black yotes around my area.  one was about the size of a german shepard.  saw him trotting across a hay field one afternoon.

yep, they invaded back in jan. in full force.  we'll have a mixed bag of hunting on the farm this year.  now all i need is the elusive black panther that everybody see's but me and a few bears.

Pat, that yote is the one I told you ran past me that afternoon all of the coyotes were eating my Doe behind you on the ridge. I couldn't get a shot at him.

I've only seen one coyote while hunting and it was solid black. That was in GA. I asked a biologist about it and he said they can be black, white or anywhere in between.
